Senior Ecologist
Chantilly Office

ERG is seeking senior scientists with 10 or more years of experience in the areas of aquatic ecology, natural resource damage assessment, and ecological risk assessment. Candidates will lead teams to research and evaluate the effects of industrial wastewater discharges from U.S. industries, and quantify the benefits of proposed regulatory options to reduce or eliminate discharges of toxic chemicals, nutrients, pathogens, and other environmental pollutants. Candidates will work in teams with engineers, scientists, and economists to perform national and regional level environmental assessments. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in ecology, natural resources, or toxicology; project management and field sampling experience; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Direct experience with EPA's effluent guidelines program is a plus. ERG offers and extensive benefits package, including health care benefits, 401(k) contribution, and incentive bonus program.
