Water Resource Scientist
ERG is seeking scientists with 8 or more years of experience in the areas of water resources, aquatic ecology, watershed management, coastal pollution, and risk assessment. Candidates will lead teams to research and evaluate the effects of wastewater discharges on surface waters and quantify the benefits of proposed reductions in discharges of toxic chemicals, nutrients, pathogens, and other environmental pollutants. Candidates will work in teams with engineers, scientists, and economists to perform national and regional level environmental assessments. Ideal candidates will have a graduate degree or equivalent experience in water resources, environmental science, ecology, natural resources, or toxicology; project management experience; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with water quality models, ecological risk models, TMDLs, field sampling experience, and GIS analyses is considered a plus.
