Laboratory Business Developer
Laboratory

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG), a nationally recognized company providing engineering and technical support to numerous government organizations, is seeking a dynamic business developer/marketer to lead the diversification of environmental chemistry operations at our accredited Research Triangle Park, NC laboratory. The position requires a demonstrated background in leading laboratory business operations and laboratory business development for an analytical lab specializing in environmental measurements, routine and non-routine chemical analyses, and analytical methods development and validation. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in chemistry or closely related field; 15+ years experience in an environmental chemistry laboratory; at least 10 years of business development/management experience; and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate will have experience with: federal and state government environmental programs (air, water and waste); various sophisticated analytical techniques for the analysis of low-level ambient air samples and application of instrument techniques like GC/MS, LC/MS, HPLC, FTIR, UV-DOAS to environmental samples; experience with USEPA and Standard Methods analytical techniques; QA and quality systems (e.g., ISO 14001); laboratory information management systems; and leading project teams in a multi-discipline environment.
