From Interstate 95 (this road is also known as Route 128):

Take Exit 31B onto Routes 4 and 225 toward Bedford. As you approach the first set of lights, less than a 1/2 mile from the highway exit, you will pass the Boston Athletic Club on your right. You should be in the right-hand lane and bear right to take the "jug-handle" turn for Hartwell Avenue (toward Hanscom Air Force Base). This turn provides you with the ability to cross over Rtes. 4/225 to Hartwell Avenue. Follow Hartwell Avenue for about a mile. You will pass the Max Stein's on the left. Take the next left turn into 110 Hartwell Avenue, where we are located. If you get to Hanscom Air Force Base, you've missed the turn.

Following are several options for getting to I-95:

From Logan Airport (in light traffic): Follow signs to Boston/Sumner Tunnel. Coming out of the tunnel, bear to the left and follow I-93 North to I-95 South. Get on I-95 South and follow the main directions listed above.

From Logan Airport (in heavy traffic): Follow signs to Boston/Sumner Tunnel. Coming out of the tunnel, bear to the right and follow I-93 South. Follow I-93 South to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). Get on I-90 West (toward Newton). From I-90, take I-95 North and follow the main directions listed above.

From Boston: If starting from downtown, get onto I-93 North and follow the first set of Logan Airport directions listed above. Alternatively, get onto the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90 West) and follow the second set of Logan Airport directions listed above. If starting from anywhere west or north of Boston proper, get onto I-93/Route 2, or the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) and follow the appropriate directions below.

From Route 93: Take I-93 to I-95 South and follow the main directions listed above.

From Route 2: Take Route 2 to I-95 North and follow the main directions listed above.

From Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90): Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to I-95 North and follow the main directions listed above.

Public Transportation: Take the MBTA Red Line to the Alewife Station. Take the #76 bus (leaves every half hour until 8:30 a.m., and then hourly on the half hour; the fare is $1.25). The bus travels through Lexington to Route 2A and then to Wood Street. Get off at Lincoln Labs and walk down to Hartwell Avenue.
