ERG to Develop Marine Vessel Emissions Inventory

ERG recently won a contract with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) to develop an emissions inventory for the Houston Ship Channel. The project will identify marine vessel traffic hotspots that could impact local air quality and the health of people who live adjacent to these areas. ERG will compile vessel movement data to track individual vessel movements, estimate hours of operation, and quantify propulsion engine loads. We will also evaluate individual vessel activity to calculate emissions.
