ERG completed several reports for the State of Maine to assess the impacts climate change may have on the state’s economy, revenues, and investment decisions. ERG performed a state-wide analysis to identify regions where the economy and its people are most vulnerable to climate change issues, including coastal and inland flooding, changing ocean conditions, heat, and vector-borne diseases. ERG also performed cost-benefit analyses to assess the effectiveness of strategies to reduce climate change impacts and greenhouse gas emissions, which will be used by the State to make the case for action in their December 2020 Climate Action Plan.
