ERG Communications Expertise Informs Guidance for State Transportation Officials

ERG communications experts recently helped a team of researchers develop a strategic guidance document, which was published by the Transportation Research Board’s National Highway Cooperative Research Program. The Communications Guide for State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) advises state DOT CEOs and other high-ranking transportation officials on how to communicate effectively within their organizations and beyond. It covers the roles, responsibilities, and relevance of communications functions within state DOTs and provides case studies of successful communications practices from a range of organizations and industries.
