Almost every day there’s an opportunity to break new ground—pursue creative ways to address interesting challenges with technology—while working with colleagues and clients who are genuinely focused on making a difference.
John Bergin, an ERG vice president, provides a wide range of analytical, IT-related, and technical communications support to federal agencies and other clients. His work includes establishing functional specifications, managing the creation of interface designs, developing user guidance and training, and coordinating the deployment and enhancement of IT-based tools.
He has supported the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s workplace injury and illness recordkeeping compliance program for many years. For example, he played a key role in advancing the OSHA Data Initiative by managing an annual statistical analysis of OSHA’s audits on employer injury/illness recordkeeping and then helping OSHA use these data to realize efficiencies in its enforcement and compliance activities. John also supports the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program by developing training and tools to promote industry compliance and gathering stakeholder feedback on program resources.
John has a B.A. in English from Boston College. Outside work, he enjoys travel and rowing wooden dories on the Merrimack River.
