A management goal is a statement about the desired condition of an ecological value of concern. It contains an entity, some attribute, and a desired state.
|
Management goals may come from a law, interpretations of the law by regulators, desired outcomes voiced by community leaders and the public, interests expressed by affected parties, or other places. All these types of goal involve input from the public, but each type follows a different creation process.
