in-depthInterested Parties

Participation by risk managers and interested parties normally consists of refinement and approval of the three products of problem formulation. However, interested parties may provide technical input when they have relevant traditional or local knowledge. The risk manager determines the level of their involvement.

Outside Resources: Further information on participation of the public is available on the EPA Web site at http://www.epa.gov/stakeholders/policy.htm.

We'll discuss the risk assessor's relationship with the risk manager further during the wrap-up module.
