When Does Analysis, the Next Phase of Risk Assessment, Begin?

When the problem is clearly defined and there are enough data to proceed, analysis, the next phase, begins.

The analysis plan is the final synthesis before the risk assessment proceeds.

key pointThe analysis plan summarizes what has been done during problem formulation, shows how the plan relates to management decisions that must be made, and indicates how data and analyses will be used to estimate risks.

Of course, additional data can be collected as necessary throughout the assessment.
