Uncertainties need to be identified during analysis and addressed later in the risk assessment. Methods used to evaluate uncertainties can be simple or complex. You should now be familiar with the types of data, types of studies, criteria for selecting data, and ways to identify uncertainty. In the next two lessons you can learn how to use this knowledge to actually describe exposure and the resulting ecological effects.
