Comparisons of Exposure and Effects Data

The fourth and final approach used to estimate risk is to compare exposure and effects data using:

  • The quotient method.
  • Comparisons using the entire stressor-response curve.
  • Methods that incorporate the variability in exposures and effects.

Let's look at each of these methodologies in turn. But first, where are we in estimating risk? We've talked about three of the ways to estimate risk, and we are about to go in depth into comparing exposure and effects data.
