Exercise: Evaluating Adversity

We have now covered the two key processes involved in describing risk: evaluating lines of evidence and determining the significance of adverse effects. Before moving on to the final lesson in this module, try this quick exercise to practice applying the concepts we have covered.

In this exercise, you will:

  • Review the details of an ecological disaster.
  • Be presented with two different risk management options.
  • Determine which option will cause the least adverse effects.
