Valuation of Natural Resource Damage
ERG's staff members are experienced in calculating the economic
consequences of chemical spills and other emissions on natural systems.
We also estimate the cost of fish and wildlife losses to support
resource damage settlements.
Impact Analysis
We help clients determine the economic and environmental impact
of natural resource management strategies. ERG staff members have
evaluated hundreds of regulatory and policy actions, and have prepared
environmental impact statements. We also have experience analyzing
the consequences of harvesting old-growth timber in national forests,
the sale of federal forests, and the expansion and management of
National Wildlife Refuges.
Ecological Assessments
ERG conducts biological assessments in both aquatic and terrestrial
environments. We have experience with wetland identification, characterization,
design, and construction. We also conduct surveys and population
studies of birds, mammals, invertebrates, and plant communities.

for air, water, and solid media. We are pioneers in the fields of
ambient, mobile-source, and stationary-source air monitoring. Our
mobile, state-of-the-art laboratory is fully equipped to provide

management system design, implementation support, and training.
