Molly Rodgers
Vice President
You can build software and tools anywhere and for any reason. I’m proud to lead efforts to build software and tools that enable data-driven analyses and decisions to protect human health and the environment.
Molly Rodgers, an ERG vice president, has spent her entire career with ERG supporting U.S. Environmental Protection Agency programs that span nearly every mission area. She began her career as an environmental scientist and quickly saw the value and impact of creating tools to analyze and visualize data. After only a few years, she decided to pursue her master's degree in information technology, recognizing early the important nexus of data and science. Since then, Molly has dedicated her career to developing interactive tools that leverage cross-programmatic data to enhance data visualization and analysis in support of research and decision-making.
One of her greatest strengths is managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists, information architects, designers, web developers, programmers, and communication specialists to collaborate in developing products that best meet user needs. She is passionate about putting user needs first and strives to help clients deliver impactful solutions for their customers. Over the last 20 years, Molly has provided continuous technical support to EPA’s Homeland Security Research Program, creating over a dozen decision support tools to help EPA response partners increase their preparedness and resiliency.
Molly holds a B.S in environmental science and a master’s degree in information technology from Virginia Tech and is a Certified Scrum Master®. Outside work, you can find her spending time outdoors with her family and friends enjoying the beach, boating, and fishing, or watching her sons surf and play soccer. She is an active volunteer in her community raising funds for local children’s charities.
