Randolph Bower
Program Manager
I always wanted to use my chemistry knowledge to help clean up our world and hope that, in some small way, I’ve been able to do that through my work at ERG.
Randolph Bower serves as ERG’s deputy program manager for the contract to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Monitoring Program. An analytical chemist for 30 years, Randolph is experienced in multiple types of chromatography and sample preparation. For more than half his career, he has supported the National Monitoring Program as an analyst or lead for several tasks within the program. His work with ambient monitoring equipment extends from the fabrication shop to the field, taking him from Alaska to Florida. His favorite work activities include overhauling, optimizing, and fine-tuning laboratory processes and equipment to improve laboratory performance.
Randolph has a B.S. in chemistry from Virginia Tech and holds several certifications: in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, in Hazardous Material Transportation, in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and from the International Air Transport Association.
