Senior Fire Protection Engineer
As a degreed fire protection engineer, I am dedicated to the life safety of my clients and their buildings. I have used my experience to support the installation and maintenance of fire prevention, alarm, and suppression systems in facilities around the world. ERG allows me the opportunity to interact with a wide array of clients and project types, sharing my expertise and expanding my knowledge of the most up-to-date fire protection strategies.
Rob Clark joined ERG after more than 30 years of successful project experience, serving as a senior fire protection engineer and consultant, engineering manager, and project manager for multiple large-scale projects. He began his career as a staff engineer for an internationally recognized worldwide provider of fire protection, Jensen Hughes, where he rose to become engineering manager of the Latin America office. He left to establish his own business in Washington, DC, and later became president of an 8(a) minority-owned contractor, responsible for the growth and management of the firm.
Rob has worked on numerous high-profile projects, including the Pentagon Wedges 4 and 5, Washington Nationals Stadium, U.S Capitol Visitor Center, Air National Guard Aircraft, and Joint Munitions Command Iowa Army Plant, as well as hangars throughout the United States and U.S embassies throughout Europe. Rob presents technical information in a clear and understandable manner and brings strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building to his work.
Rob holds a B.S. in fire protection engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states (pending).
