BOEM Publishes ERG Air Quality Emission Inventory Studies

Offshore oil and gas activities can potentially impact onshore air quality. To help understand this problem, ERG recently completed two air quality emission inventory studies for BOEM. For the Alaska Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) and Gulf of Mexico OCS Regions, ERG inventoried criteria and toxic air pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions released during on- and offshore oil and gas exploration and production.
