EPA Announces New ERG-Developed “Sector Snapshots”

With ERG support, EPA has added several new sectors to its web-based “Sector Snapshots” tool. Our Digital Services team worked with the EPA Office of Policy’s Smart Sector Program to create this interactive, data-rich visualization web application, featuring a mashup of environmental and economic data from the last 20 years. ERG developed eight of the newly released interactive websites: aerospace, automotive manufacturing, cement and concrete, chemical manufacturing, iron and steel, mining, paper and wood products, and utilities and power generation. The Sector Snapshots app incorporates modern features that improve the user experience, including the ability to work offline and to function as a native mobile application for smartphones.
