ERG Announces New Vice Presidents
ERG celebrates the promotion of 11 valued team members to Vice President. These individuals were selected based on their achievements in client service, project and contract management, staff management and mentorship, business development, and technical expertise.
Julie Blue: Dr. Julie Blue is a senior contract and project manager and business development leader in ERG’s Drinking Water Practice. With a doctorate in engineering/hydrology, she leads ERG’s work on groundwater management and has pioneered development of frameworks and tools to assess impacts of climate change, brownfields redevelopment, and other activities at the community scale and inform decision-making. Julie is a national leader in climate change impacts assessment and was listed as a key contributor to the Built Environment chapter of the Fourth National Climate Assessment, based on work she conducted through ERG.
Allison DenBleyker: With over 17 years in the mobile source emissions modeling field, Allison’s time at ERG reflects a balance of technical leadership, client service, project stewardship, business development, and staff mentoring. Allison is widely recognized as a national expert in EPA’s Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES) modeling and emissions inventory development, and she currently leads EPA’s on-road and nonroad mobile-source contributions to the National Emissions Inventory (NEI) and associated regulatory emissions modeling platforms. She was one of the original developers of the SMOKE–MOVES integration tools used by EPA and states.
Chris Hartnett: Chris is an environmental management systems expert in ERG’s Environmental and Occupational Health group. She is a leader in the field of helping federal agencies develop and implement environmental management systems (EMSs) and safety and health management systems (SHMSs). For more than 20 years, Chris has supported EPA’s environmental performance data, occupational safety and health data, and employee health and wellness data, and she has authored 10 editions of EPA’s annual report on Protecting Employees and the Environment. She also assisted OSHA in developing their first ever outreach product on how employers can help address mental health issues in the workplace.
Linda Hills: Linda Hills is a senior engineer in ERG’s Drinking Water Practice. She manages high-profile projects and contracts related to national and state water regulatory and infrastructure programs at the state and federal levels—including EPA’s robust Compliance Advisors for Sustainable Water Systems program and a contract with the New Mexico Environment Department to provide comprehensive technical, training, and other services for NMED’s Drinking Water Bureau and other programs.
Joanna Kind: Joanna has been a leader in ERG’s Wastewater Practice for more than 20 years, serving as a manager, mentor, and key technical expert. She has supported a wide range of EPA Office of Water programs and state clients. Her expertise spans water conservation, reuse, and water quality, including major contributions to EPA’s WaterSense program and vessel discharge rulemaking. She is also the founder of ERG’s New Mexico office.
Eva Knoth: Eva is a Senior Environmental Engineer, IT manager, and leader in ERG’s Digital Solutions Group. Eva brings 14 years of experience delivering mission-focused, highly visible data systems and decision support tools, including her current role managing ERG’s support for EPA’s Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO). As an ISO/CMMI manager, Eva convenes quarterly governance meetings with senior ERG leaders, oversees IT project operational metrics, and drives continuous improvement and innovation.
Nicole Ogden: Nicole is a senior engineer, Program Manager, and Group Manager in ERG’s Facilities Planning and Engineering Group. Prior to joining ERG, Nicole worked as a U.S. Navy engineer planning heavy maintenance activities for nuclear submarines. Nicole is an accomplished and versatile manager who plans, implements, and monitors complex technical projects.
Regi Oommen: Regi is a senior scientist and group manager in the Air Quality group. He has 30 years of experience developing emission inventories and databases, conducting air quality analyses and modeling, and supporting enforcement and targeting. Regi is one of ERG’s experts working with big data sets and is a recognized national expert in analyzing ambient air quality data. He has supported several large EPA regulatory, ambient monitoring, and inventory databases such as the National Emissions Inventory (NEI), EPA’s Ambient Monitoring Archive (AMA), and National Air Toxics Trends System (NATTS), among many others.
Lauren Scott: Lauren is a senior engineer, Program Manager, and Group Manager in ERG’s Facilities Planning and Engineering Group. Lauren joined ERG in 2008 as a civil engineer and has built a distinguished career grounded in strong technical expertise, reliability, and an unwavering focus on client service. Over her tenure, she has consistently served as a trusted partner to federal clients. Lauren is widely known for delivering high-quality, practical solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
Audrey Signorelli: Audrey is a senior leader within ERG’s Water Program Implementation Group, where she manages the Permits and Regulatory Support Practice Area. Audrey’s team supports EPA and state water quality programs and oversees a portfolio of federal and state contracts supporting implementation of the Clean Water Act’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. Audrey is considered a national expert in NPDES permitting and serves as an instructor for EPA’s NPDES Permit Writers’ Course, where she has trained hundreds of EPA and state permit writers and helped strengthen program capacity across the country.
Marty Wolf: Marty has been with ERG for more than 35 years, dedicating his career to serving federal, state and international clients, and is a recognized expert in developing air emissions inventories for both anthropogenic and natural sources. Since the early 2000s, Marty has led air quality studies in California, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest, and has trained regional air quality professionals in both the U.S. and Mexico. He is a nationally recognized expert on generating emissions inventories for northern Mexico, and he has led several projects for EPA’s OAQPS to help evaluate the impact of Mexican emissions on air quality in the southern U.S.
