ERG awarded air quality contract for Pinal County, Arizona

ERG was recently selected to assist Pinal County, Arizona, with tasks related to evaluating and improving air quality in the county, including:
- Air quality permitting
- Data collection and reporting
- Ambient impact and modeling analysis
- Air quality regulation planning
“We are excited to step in and augment the capabilities of the dedicated public servants in Pinal County,” said Marty Wolf, Senior Air Quality Engineer. “Our experts are well-versed in supporting efforts to improve air quality, from the community through federal levels.”
The work will assist Pinal County, which covers much of the area between Phoenix and Tucson, in evaluating current air quality conditions and reducing harmful pollutants like ozone and particulate matter that can cause adverse health effects.
The award marks the latest ERG work in Arizona. Currently, ERG is providing similar air quality support to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, and the Maricopa Association of Governments. In addition, ERG has supported the Bureau of Land Management’s aquatic Assessment Inventory and Monitoring program in the state.
