ERG Helps EPA Settle Three Major Environmental Cases

EPA recently settled three major enforcement cases with support from ERG. Over a period of years, ERG provided sampling and analysis, data collection, data analysis, and technology evaluation support for these cases. As a result of one settlement, Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC, will now properly treat, store, and dispose of nearly 60 billion pounds of hazardous waste at its facilities. Guardian Industries Corp. has agreed to reduce harmful air pollutant emissions from its flat glass manufacturing plants throughout the country and Tractor Supply Company of Texas, L.P., will implement a rigorous corporate compliance plan that will prevent future violations of the Clean Air Act and mitigate air pollution.
