Meet our trainers 

Liz Gorman has nearly 20 years of experience in air quality permitting, bringing a well‑rounded perspective to complex regulatory challenges. For most of her career, she worked at an air quality consulting firm preparing permit applications for industrial facilities. She also spent several years as a subject matter expert at a U.S. Department of Defense military installation. At ERG, Ms. Gorman manages projects supporting state and local agencies by reviewing permit applications and drafting air permits. 

Zachary Good has nearly 15 years of experience in air quality permitting, compliance, and enforcement for a variety of industries, including support for the data center industry in earlier stages of his career. Mr. Good actively supports federal, state, and local partners in all aspects of air quality including permitting, compliance, and dispersion modeling, resulting in a unique “cradle-to-grave” perspective when it comes to tackling complex air quality challenges. 

Matt Haber has worked in the permitting and air quality fields since 1980. He began his career at EPA’s Region 9 office and was involved in all aspects of the air program, including serving as Deputy Director of the Air Division. He finished his EPA career in the headquarters enforcement office, where he was involved in several New Source Review enforcement initiatives. Since joining ERG in 2015, he has advised EPA, state, and local agencies about permit program development, implementation, and enforcement.
