ERG is excited to announce the hiring of Benjamin Reder, who will serve as ERG’s first-ever Pacific Operations Regional Director in Honolulu. Ben will lead ERG’s Honolulu office, expected to open in October.

“I am incredibly excited to be part of ERG and this pivotal demonstration of our commitment to working with the State and people of Hawaiʻi,” said Reder. “With our longstanding partnership supporting Hawaiʻi Department of Health in protecting environmental and public health—from ongoing monitoring programs to our critical response during the Lahaina wildfire crisis—ERG is positioned to build on existing work and expand our impact across the entire Pacific Region, serving Hawaiʻi, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam as trusted partners in building resilient, healthy communities and protecting treasured natural resources.”

Reder brings more than 15 years of public sector experience across Hawaiʻi, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam, with projects focusing on implementing and evaluating programs that strengthen water infrastructure, reduce coastal hazards, and improve environmental and public health outcomes.

The Hawaiʻi office officially opens on Oct. 1, 2025. ERG looks forward to continuing collaboration and community building to advance environmental protection and public health across the islands.
