PG Environmental, LLC, Supports Sewer System Upgrade Case

An Arkansas city will no longer be discharging millions of gallons of raw sewage into local waterways, thanks in part to the work of PG Environmental, an ERG subsidiary. PG helped the federal government reach a settlement with the city of Fort Smith over alleged violations of the Clean Water Act. The city will also be investing in a $255 million project to upgrade its sewers. PG laid the groundwork for the case, which is awaiting final court approval, by assessing the city’s current sewer system and proposing ways to remedy its shortcomings.
