ERG provides specialized planning, engineering, and scientific services to private and public higher education institutions of all sizes. We have supported more than 20 higher education clients, and we currently maintain multi-year master services agreements with four of those clients. Our services include:

  • Facilities planning and engineering: Facility and installation planning; life-cycle planning; engineering feasibility studies; campus master plans.
  • Environmental compliance: Air, water, and storage tank permitting assistance; multimedia compliance program development and implementation.
  • Health and safety: Programmatic support for a wide range of safety topics, including lockout tagout, confined space, and indoor air quality.
  • Sustainability: Sustainability strategies; emissions inventories; community resilience; energy management; waste management; refrigerant management; sustainable buildings and LEED services.
  • Strategic communications: Outreach and social marketing; meeting and facilitation; technical and scientific communications; education and training.

ERG holds prime contracts with many federal, state, and local agencies. Agency managers can often access us by issuing a task/work order or work assignment through an applicable contract.

ERG’s SeaPort contract (N00178-14-D-7701) makes our services available to U.S. Navy offices in a timely, cost-effective manner. U.S Navy clients have successfully used this e-procurement mechanism to access ERG for millions of dollars in services.

For private-sector companies, nonprofits, and NGOs, a standard commercial or purchase order agreement is all it takes to begin work.

ERG is a subcontractor to a small business prime in each of the four NOAA ProTech domains. NOAA programs can access ERG’s services through these vehicles.

ERG holds a 5-year Master Services Agreement with the University of Virginia to provide a broad range of strategic support services, including organizational improvement/change, process management, supply chain management, environmental/sustainability, risk and compliance, and policy development. This Agreement allows for cooperative procurement and may be accessed by other organizations, including:

  • Any higher education institution such as a public or private university or college.
  • Any public or private health institution.
  • Any university-related foundation.
  • Any other public body such as a state or local government.
