As a health and safety professional, I see my role as a facilitator, working to ensure that each client and colleague stays safe and healthy while accomplishing their work. I also truly believe that safety is a state of mind, and my goal is to have each person bring an awareness of safety wherever they are and to everything they do.
Jerry Revis is a seasoned environmental, health, and safety professional with over 38 years of experience in occupational safety and health, facilities management, emergency response, environmental compliance, municipal and hazardous waste management, risk assessment, and environmental science. He has provided environmental compliance and health and safety support to a wide variety of government and industrial clients and is active in several trade groups dealing with environmental, health, and safety issues.
As ERG’s Corporate Health and Safety Officer, Jerry is responsible for the health and safety of over 600 employees in office settings; in the field; in ERG’s analytical laboratory in North Carolina; and onsite at U.S. Navy facilities in Indian Head, Maryland, and at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s research laboratory in Durham, North Carolina.
Jerry holds a B.S. in environmental health, with a concentration in occupational safety, from Western Carolina University, and a Master of Business Administration from Elon University. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, camping and visiting the beach and mountains.
