ERG recently won a contract with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support its Data Analysis Search Host (DASH) database. The DASH database serves as a consolidated repository for accurate, verified data that helps FDA efficiently evaluate drug development programs and advance regulatory science.

ERG originally designed and created the prototype of DASH for the FDA in 2011, transforming a time-consuming manual process for querying drug research and development processes into a streamlined user-friendly digital process. Since then, ERG has supported FDA in expanding and refining DASH and will continue to do so under this follow-on contract.

“DASH has proven valuable in helping FDA identify factors that facilitate or hinder efficient development of drugs needed to support public health,” said Melissa Beer, ERG’s project manager for DASH. “This enables the agency to find ways to increase the likelihood of success in areas of unmet medical need. We’re proud to play a role in providing the accurate, reliable data needed for this important work.”
