Helping EPA Advance National Lead-Free Water Goals

ERG is proud to be supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) new Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerator program, helping to advance the goal of achieving 100 percent lead-free water systems across the country. The initiative, which supports the goals of the Lead Pipe and Paint Action Plan, will provide hands-on support to communities to inventory and ultimately replace lead service lines. These service lines can introduce lead into drinking water, which poses serious health risks. Lessons learned from this accelerator program will be used to develop best practices to be shared nationwide. ERG looks forward to providing technical support to EPA in their efforts, accelerating progress toward safe, clean, lead-free water for all.
