ERG’s Dr. Chi Ho Sham Speaks on Contaminants in Drinking Water at American Chemical Society Annual Conference

Dr. Chi Ho Sham spoke at the “Water Sustainability: Chemists in Pursuit of Clean Water” symposium held on April 4th at the 2017 American Chemical Society annual conference in San Francisco. Dr. Sham provided an overview on how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulates chemical contaminants by using risk assessment and other decision support tools. Dr. Sham was joined by industry and academia representatives from BASF, ETH Zurich, the University of South Carolina, the University of Oregon, Dow Chemicals, Aramco Services, Princeton University, the University of South Florida, and Georgetown University to discuss the impacts of chemicals on drinking water.
